Google officially launched AdWords Express, a product that enables local businesses to start advertising online in less than five minutes. The product was originally launched last fall as Google Boost for a limited number of small businesses and has since then expanded to all local businesses in the US that aren’t already using AdWords. Google now enables businesses with no previous experience in online advertising to leverage AdWords Express to reach customers in quick and easy way through highly effective campaigns.
The process of creating an online ad campaign is quite simplified; businesses only need to enter some basic information to create their ad. From there, AdWords Express manages the campaign automatically and ads are only shown to people who are interested in the advertiser’s offering. It determines which searches the ad should appear for and places the ads beside or on top of search result pages and on Google Maps, marked with a blue pin so it stands out to potential customers. Customers can see the ads when searching both on laptops and mobile phones.
AdWords Express allows advertisers to set a monthly budget when placing the ad. It estimates how many people will click on the ad and suggests how much advertisers should spend when setting a budget.
“As with all our ad products, you only pay when a customer clicks on your ad. To make things even easier, AdWords optimizes your ads to get the most of your advertising campaign and budget,” Product Manager for AdWords Express, Kiley McEvoy wrote in a blog post.
AdWords Express is designed to help businesses connect with customers in their local area by creating targeted online ad campaigns that they don’t need to spend time managing.
